Quant Flexi Cap Fund led the flexi-cap mutual fund category in terms of three-month returns, delivering a gain of 20.4 percent as of June 22, according to data compiled by ACE MF. The performance placed the fund ahead of its peers in a category that allows fund managers the flexibility to invest across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap stocks based on prevailing market conditions.

The strong short-term performance comes amid a broad recovery in Indian equity markets, supported by improving investor sentiment, resilient economic growth, and continued participation from domestic investors. Flexi-cap funds have benefited from their ability to dynamically allocate capital across segments, enabling fund managers to capture opportunities in different parts of the market.

Following Quant Flexi Cap Fund, Invesco India Flexi Cap Fund and HSBC Flexi Cap Fund were among the other top performers in the category over the three-month period. The rankings highlight the varying investment strategies adopted by fund houses to navigate changing market conditions and sector rotations.

Apart from its recent performance, Quant Flexi Cap Fund has also delivered a three-year compounded annual growth rate of 19.0 percent, demonstrating consistent long-term wealth creation for investors. Market participants often evaluate both short-term returns and long-term track records when selecting mutual fund schemes, particularly in diversified categories such as flexi-cap funds.

Financial advisors continue to emphasize that while strong recent returns can indicate effective portfolio management, investors should consider factors such as risk profile, investment horizon, portfolio composition, and consistency of performance before making investment decisions.
