Nippon India ETF Nifty PSU Bank BeES has emerged as the top-performing index exchange traded fund in India based on one-year CAGR returns, according to data compiled by ACE MF as of June 22, 2026. The ETF delivered a return of 28.0 percent over the past year and generated a three-year CAGR of 29.7 percent.

The fund tracks the Nifty PSU Bank Index, providing investors exposure to major public sector banks. The strong performance has been supported by improved financial health across PSU banks, aided by lower non-performing assets, healthy loan growth, stronger capital positions, and improving profitability trends.

Other PSU bank-focused ETFs also featured among the top performers in the category, highlighting sustained investor confidence in the public sector banking segment. The sector has witnessed a significant re-rating in recent years as government-owned lenders strengthened their balance sheets and reported improved earnings performance.

Exchange traded funds have gained popularity among investors seeking low-cost exposure to specific sectors and market indices. Sector-focused ETFs, particularly those linked to banking and financial services, have attracted increased inflows amid expectations of continued economic growth and credit expansion.

While past performance does not guarantee future returns, the latest rankings underscore the strong momentum witnessed in PSU banking stocks and the growing role of ETFs as an investment vehicle for retail and institutional investors.
