The transactions highlight significant changes in institutional and promoter ownership across multiple companies. While stake sales by large investors can increase near term supply of shares, corresponding institutional purchases can absorb part of that supply. The market reaction differed across companies, reflecting the transaction size, investor composition and prevailing trading conditions.
