Info Edge Appoints Himanshu Agarwal As CFO And Director
Info Edge has appointed Himanshu Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer and Additional Director, effective September 17, 2026, subject to shareholder and statutory approvals. The company has also appointed Naresh Chand Gupta as an Independent Director for five years, while Ambarish Raghuvanshi will continue as Finance Advisor during the leadership transition.

Info Edge India Ltd will remain in focus after the company’s board appointed Himanshu Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer and Additional Director at its meeting on September 14, 2026. Agarwal will assume his responsibilities effective September 17 and will be designated as Whole-time Director and CFO, subject to shareholder approval and other applicable statutory approvals.
With Agarwal taking charge as CFO, Ambarish Raghuvanshi’s tenure as Interim CFO and Key Managerial Personnel will conclude at the close of business hours on September 16. Raghuvanshi will continue his association with Info Edge as Finance Advisor and Senior Management Personnel until October 31, 2026, to facilitate the transition and handover of responsibilities.
The board has also appointed Naresh Chand Gupta as an Additional Director, who will be designated as Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031. His appointment is subject to shareholder approval through postal ballot.
Following the leadership changes, Info Edge has reconstituted its Risk Management Committee and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting Committee. Himanshu Agarwal will join both committees as a member with effect from September 17.
Info Edge shares closed at Rs 1,250.80 on September 11, 2026, down Rs 14.20, or 1.12 percent, from the previous session.
Separately, Info Edge-backed NoPaperForms Solutions, a Gurugram-based education technology platform, filed an updated Draft Red Herring Prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India last week for its proposed initial public offering.
The AI-powered education SaaS provider has proposed raising Rs 375 crore through a fresh issue of equity shares, along with an offer for sale of 3.84 crore equity shares by investor Startup Investments Holding.
NoPaperForms Solutions is also considering a pre-IPO placement of up to Rs 75 crore. If completed, the amount raised through the placement would be deducted from the fresh issue component of the proposed IPO.
