CleanMax Shares Rally After Renewable Energy Partnership With Meta In India
Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions shares surged to a record high after the company announced a major renewable energy partnership with Meta in India. Shares of Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions witnessed strong buying interest on Wednesday after the company announced a large-scale renewable energy partnership with Meta Platforms in India.
The stock surged as much as 15.32 percent during intraday trade to hit a fresh all-time high of Rs 1,421.20 per share on the NSE. Although the stock later pared some gains due to profit booking, it was still trading higher by 8.57 percent at Rs 1,338 per share during late morning trade.
The rally extended the stock’s winning streak to seven consecutive sessions, during which it has gained nearly 25 percent.
According to the company's exchange filing, Meta Platforms and CleanMax have entered into a renewable energy partnership that now exceeds 900 MW of capacity in India. The latest agreement will support the development of 837 MW of new solar and wind energy projects across Rajasthan and Karnataka. When combined with previously announced projects, the collaboration represents more than 900 MW of renewable energy capacity.
CleanMax stated that the projects will contribute to Meta’s objective of matching its electricity consumption with 100 percent clean and renewable energy while supporting the addition of new renewable generation capacity to the grid. The initiative is also expected to help Meta reduce emissions across its value chain in the region.
Commenting on the partnership, CleanMax Founder and Managing Director Kuldeep Jain said the company is pleased to collaborate with Meta, whose platforms including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads connect billions of users globally and play an important role in the evolving digital and artificial intelligence infrastructure ecosystem.
Under the agreement, CleanMax will develop and operate the renewable energy assets, while Meta will purchase 100 percent of the environmental attributes generated by the projects, reinforcing its long-term clean energy commitments.
