Belrise Industries has launched a qualified institutional placement (QIP) to raise a base amount of Rs 1,200 crore, with the flexibility to increase the issue size depending on investor demand. The fundraising exercise follows shareholder approval received on July 2, which authorized the company to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore through the QIP route.

The company's QIP committee approved the opening of the issue on July 14 and fixed the floor price at Rs 230.79 per equity share, according to a regulatory filing. The fundraising is being managed by investment bank Jefferies.

The proceeds from the QIP will be utilized for general corporate purposes, including funding inorganic growth opportunities and reducing outstanding debt. The capital infusion is expected to strengthen the company's balance sheet while supporting its long-term expansion strategy.

Investor sentiment remained positive following the announcement, with Belrise Industries shares gaining more than 2.5 percent in early trade. The stock has delivered strong gains since its market debut in May 2025, with its share price having more than doubled from the listing level.

Belrise Industries is an automotive component manufacturer serving two-wheeler, three-wheeler, passenger vehicle, and commercial vehicle segments. Its product portfolio includes metal and polymer processing, suspension systems, mirror systems, surface treatment solutions, foundry products, security hardware, home appliances, e-mobility components, and floriculture products.

The company operates more than 15 manufacturing facilities across seven Indian states, employs over 15,000 people, and exports its products to markets including the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and China.
