Reliance Industries shares gained over 2 percent after the company’s annual general meeting, as investors responded positively to management’s growth roadmap across telecommunications, retail, digital services, artificial intelligence, and clean energy businesses.

Brokerages maintained their positive outlook on the stock following the meeting, citing multiple long-term growth drivers that could support earnings and valuation expansion. Analysts pointed to the company's increasing focus on artificial intelligence infrastructure and digital services through Jio Platforms, which continues to strengthen its position in India's telecom and technology ecosystem.

A key area of investor interest remains the potential listing of Jio Platforms. Market participants expect a future IPO of the telecom and digital services arm to unlock significant value for shareholders, given its large subscriber base, expanding digital offerings, and growing role in India's AI ecosystem.

Brokerages also highlighted Reliance's progress in the new energy segment, where the company is investing heavily in solar manufacturing, energy storage, green hydrogen, and related technologies. These businesses are expected to become important growth engines over the coming years as India accelerates its clean energy transition.

In addition, Reliance Retail continues to expand its footprint across physical and digital commerce, while the oil-to-chemicals business remains a significant cash flow contributor. The diversified nature of Reliance's operations provides multiple avenues for growth and reduces dependence on any single business segment.

Following the AGM announcements, several brokerages reiterated their positive stance on the company, with some estimating meaningful upside potential from current levels based on the combined value of its telecom, retail, energy, and emerging technology businesses.
