SpaceX's historic Nasdaq debut generated substantial interest from Indian investors, with the stock contributing an estimated 15–20 percent of trading volumes on major platforms that provide access to US equities. The surge in activity underscores the increasing participation of Indian retail investors in overseas markets, particularly in globally recognized technology and innovation-led companies.

The company completed the largest IPO in history, raising approximately $75 billion and achieving a valuation exceeding $2 trillion upon listing. Strong investor demand pushed the stock sharply higher during its first trading sessions, making it one of the most actively traded securities on Nasdaq.

Market participants noted that Indian investors, who were unable to participate in the IPO directly, entered the stock through secondary market trading via international brokerage platforms. The listing offered retail investors an opportunity to gain exposure to SpaceX's businesses spanning space exploration, satellite communications through Starlink, and artificial intelligence-related initiatives.

The successful debut has also strengthened expectations for upcoming public offerings from major artificial intelligence companies such as Anthropic and OpenAI. Industry observers believe the strong response to SpaceX could encourage greater participation from global retail investors, including those from India, in future high-profile US listings.
